Isabel Ticlo | Executive Director

As a former Miss Arizona 2018, Miss Arizona Sweetheart 2019, and Miss Arizona USA 2022, Isabel has a deep appreciation for the personal and professional skills young women can achieve through this opportunity. 

 

She is currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a prior history as a senior marketing specialist. She is especially grateful for the scholarships she received through the Miss America Opportunity which helped her graduate with her Doctorate in PT, Masters in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and minors in Communications and Dance, debt-free. 

 

Isabel has been a 12+ year volunteer with several charities, including being President of the Chandler Lions Club, Board Member for the Leo's Cares Foundation, and Social Chair for the ASU Women in Business Association.  In addition to being a youth mentor and former interview coach, she is heavily invested in helping others find their voice.

 

Lastly, Isabel has a black belt in taekwondo, is a photographer, has written and illustrated three children’s books and competitively danced for 5 years,. This gives her a unique appreciation for many forms of performative art and fuels her passionate for helping others feel empowered on and off of the stage. 
 

Ganjana Ticlo | Assistant Director

Ganjana Ticlo is the mother of two former delegates who have held various local and state titles, including that of Miss Arizona, Miss Arizona USA, National American Miss Arizona Teen, and Arizona Sweetheart. She has extensive experience with event appearances over the course of her 15+ years of competition involvement, in addition to being a theater and dance mom. 

 

Her passion projects for volunteerism include: creating care packages for low-income youths in the Chandler community, being  a former PTO with the Chandler School District having won the Volunteer of the Year award, raising funds for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and packing and serving food for displaced families. 

​

Ultimately, she is eager to help young women find community projects they’re passionate about, feel more confident, and grow the way she saw her own daughter’s find happiness and success through the Miss America Opportunity.
